Founded in January 2001, Speedemisisons has 19 vehicle emission testing stores and 2 mobile testing units for commercial fleets, auto dealers and governments. All stores are company owned, with 18 operating in Atlanta, GA. and 1 in St. Louis, MO.
Speedemissions was among the first companies to develop the “Vehicle Test Only” store model. Specifically, this test only model means that the emission testing store does not repair cars that fail the emissions test. Nor, does it offer any other repair services such as oil changes, brakes, mufflers, etc. This model of not compromising the test has helped in building customer loyalty and trust. Over the past 19 years, Speedemissions has performed almost 2.5 million vehicle emission inspections.
